My Story

Hi I’m Keith Irvine

My personal training and nutritional therapy services are the result of over 25 years living a fitness based lifestyle and 14 years as a personal trainer and nutritional therapist.  From early days playing school and local club rugby and football to eventually progressing into a “weights” gym for the first time as a skinny 75 kilo 21 year old with dreams of being the next Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Within weeks of starting to train with weights I soon became addicted, some might say obsessed. Nevertheless I  had started a journey that would not only change my physique and lifestyle for the better, but eventually, my career.

In November 2009 after 10 successful years I sold my water cooler company and had a few months off work to decide what to do next.  Having worked for myself for so long I knew I had to find something with the freedom I previously enjoyed, I soon realised the answer was staring me in the face, after all I spent most of my time in the gym anyway! Without delay I embarked on my personal training qualifications with Premier Global and in January 2011 I started as a freelance Personal Trainer at LA Fitness in Cheltenham.

Almost 14 years on and my passion for health and fitness has grown and grown.  Im blessed to have worked with some fantastic clients and together we have achieved some amazing results.  I also find myself in a unique group of people who are able to have their hobby as a profession not many people can say they wake up every morning and look forward to going to work, I certainly can.

Over the last 25 years of training I have tried most things from bodybuilding, boxing, weightlifting and CrossFit and even the odd half marathon.  As a personal trainer you constantly evolve and learn knew techniques and skills and discover there is much more to health and fitness than just one sport, exercise or training plan.

If years of training teaches you one thing, its that nutrition is paramount and that the human body is truly remarkable and when trained and fuelled correctly anything is achievable.

“exercise is king, nutrition is queen, together you have the kingdom”
